Tiburon Hills Care Center has been a great partner in providing continued care for patients who still require skilled nursing services after discharge. Their team is responsive, professional, and focused on making the transition as smooth and safe as possible. When a patient is not yet ready to return home and needs additional skilled nursing care, Tiburon Hills works closely with the discharge team to review the patient’s needs, coordinate care, and help ensure the appropriate support is in place. Their communication and willingness to collaborate make a meaningful difference for patients and families during a very important transition. Tiburon Hills Care Center opened its arms to my family when my 93 year old mom was ready to go on hospice and needed the best skilled nursing care possible. Amy Page coordinated seamlessly with hospice to get my mom immediately situated in a sweet and cozy private room with a peaceful view, and made sure to answer all of our questions, reassuring us each step of the way that Mom would be made comfortable and be well cared for 24/7. Because Tiburon Hills is private pay, we never had to worry about insurance denials, and their policy of reimbursing us for time that is not used was a huge plus. The entire staff, including nursing, housekeeping, kitchen, and especially miracle workers, Alica and Stephanie, could not have been any kinder or more supportive during what was an enormously challenging time of saying goodbye. Amy was always there for any concern, or just to offer a hug when needed. Meals were wonderful, and the family-like atmosphere even included free guest meals upon request so that we didn’t have to leave my mom’s side. I am beyond grateful for Tiburon Hills, and I hope it is always there to serve Marin County.

Our family was lucky to hear about Tiburon Hills Care Center from an affiliated rehabilitation facility when it became obvious that what our mother needed in the final weeks of her life was not rehabilitation, but top-notch hospice care in a quiet, restful setting. She was assigned a private room with a view of rolling hills and a flock of wild turkeys and the occasional deer that roamed the grounds. All of the nursing and medical staff who attended Mom were clearly well trained and treated her in a dignified and compassionate manner. The staff were happy to accommodate our mother’s wish to spend her last days surrounded by family, making her own choices of whether to participate in scheduled social activities. She enjoyed the food and when she or family members asked for little extras from the kitchen, the answer was always yes. We were all made to feel completely welcome and comfortable during Mom’s stay, and at the end of her life the staff offered us lots of kind support. I strongly recommend Tiburon Hills to anyone seeking expert and humane care in a setting as beautiful as anything Marin County has to offer.

Amy is so helpful and educated me on all things on Tiburon Hills! They can take some of the most complex patients financially and medically and have great outcomes for patients returning back in the community. Would recommend this facility to anyone looking!

Not sure how you can run a facility and stay open, when the heating system is down and you make patients buy their own heaters to warm their room and wound care wipes. Rooms don’t get cleaned. Nurses don’t know how to do their jobs. Don’t recommend at all.

I recently toured Tiberon Hills Care Center and was absolutely blown away. The building itself is a historic gem with stunning 1950’s architecture – full of charm and character. The renovations they have started are making it even more beautiful while preserving its unique feel. What really stood out to me was the staff. Everyone I met was was kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to be there. Ami, the Director of Marketing, brings such an inspiring energy to the facility – her passion, creativity, and love for the residents are felt throughout the building. Their physical therapy department is top-notch, every staff member I encountered was professional, friendly, and upbeat. One of my favorite features is the enclosed courtyard – a serene, secure space perfect for visiting and soaking up the sunshine. The building is perched on a hill, you get breathtaking views in every direction. Tiberon Hills is truly of one-of-a-kind place. You can tell the team genuinely cares, and its shows in every detail.

After taking care of my brother for 8 months in his small room for his discharge from the hospital after a month ICU for a bike accident….he went back in only to be discharged (4) days later with metastasized stage (4) cancer….Rochelle and everyone there each member of the staff our family is so grateful for you caregiving to our brother…we love you ❤️

My mother was there for 7 years. Things were good until the corporation took over and everything changed. Forget trying to talk to anyone in charge. They don’t return calls. My mom passed way this year. And I have not heard a single word from anyone. On top of that they raised moms fees by 20% when they took over a couple Of years ago. With the promise of redecorating and bringing things up to standards. That never happened

My mom arrived to a dirty room. The staff is not kind or compassionate and likely to have attitude. They don’t even have supplies on hand for wound care. I would not recommend this place.

I stayed there recently for about 10 days to deal with a spine infection and rehab. The staff was terrific, especially Jwala the head nurse. She is an immensely capable and charming person and is on top of everything going on in the facility at all times. The staff work overtime for what can be very difficult situations for many patients. The Physical therapists are excellent, especially Dr. Duro. The food could be a little spotty sometimes, but it depends on who the chef is, but that was just a minor thing.

Amazing, reputable facility that fosters a great environment for healing. Whether you are recovering from an illness, elective procedure, or unplanned emergency, this facility is the place to go. The rooms all have a beautiful view, and the staff/administrative team does miracles to make sure each individual is appropriately cared for. It is a private pay facility, so they do not take insurance, but they are worth every penny!

I spent a bit more than a day at this facility, recovering from surgery. The entire staff was prompt in their attention to my various needs and made me feel like a queen for the day. While I hope I never need to return, if the circumstances, required, I’d be happy to spend more time here.
