We offer Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapies here at Tiburon Hills Care Center. Our therapists work to address every aspect of your rehabilitation. Occupational Therapy (OT) 

At Tiburon Hills Care Center, we have designed our occupational therapy program to help residents master tasks essential to daily living so they can safely maximize their independence. These essential tasks include bathing, dressing, eating, cooking, and other similar day-to-day functions.

Additionally, we assist our residents with impaired vision and/or hearing so they can thrive in their home environments. This involves teaching patients how to use adaptive equipment like shower chairs, walkers, utensils, wheelchairs, and more.

Speech Therapy 

Our speech therapists are focused on restoring patients’ abilities in the areas of communication, swallowing, and cognition. Our therapists help patients to:

  • Strengthen chewing and swallowing 
  • Regain speech capabilities
  • Improve vocal clarity
  • Increase comprehension

Our speech therapy program in can help patients affected by stroke, brain injury, dementia, and other neurological disorders. Our speech therapists also work with residents experiencing hearing impairment, respiratory illnesses, and other complex medical conditions.

Orthopedic / Joint Replacement Program

Following a joint replacement, the Tiburon Hills Care Center team will develop a plan to begin restoring your range of motion and mobility. Our goal is to improve your confidence and reduce and manage your pain so that you can successfully return to your daily life.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac rehab patients who have experienced a cardiac event require a delicate balance of medication, diet, and lifestyle adjustments. Tiburon Hills Care Center provides the care team that can help you manage your condition and its side effects while working with you to begin restoring your heart to healthy functioning.

Post-Stroke Rehabilitation

Tiburon Hills Care Center focuses on regaining and refining skills, movement coordination, and speech loss due to stroke. We can help you relearn how to perform daily tasks, compensate for permanent losses incurred from brain injury, and regain your confidence.
